Stuart's client-focused approach initially looks at understanding your image requirements and evaluating the environment the finished photograph will be located in. He will take you through samples from the portfolios and discuss with you the different methods of acquisition on offer. He will then talk you through the image proposals and, if required, provide a mock-up of what the image might look like when hung up. Finally, he will discuss with you how you want the image to be finished (mounted, framed or canvas) so as to ensure it compliments the personal or public space in which it will be located.
A number of innovative ways to acquire the work have been developed, providing you with the ultimate in flexibility:
Purchase
You may well have a need to buy a finished print out-right, for a gift maybe. Please contact us and we will work with you to help you decide on the image(s) and finish you require. At which time the finished print will then be created and delivered directly to you. To enquire about sizes and/or prices use the contact form, or send an email to info@stuarthoughton.co.uk.
Postage and packaging will be applied at the time of order (standard P&P is £10 per item). You will then receive an invoice and payment can be actioned online using paypal (you do not have to be registered to use it). This is a secure payment system used by millions all around the world.
Lease
Providing you with the option to lease a ‘tailored’ collection of finished prints for a low monthly fee is a great way of removing the high upfront cost traditionally associated with fine art work. Depending on the length of the lease period, your collection will go through at least one ‘collection rotation’, resulting in a brand new collection being on display. This allows themes to be played through the collection(s) such as seasons or locations (e.g. Manchester City, The Lake District), providing a real talking point and that all important vibrant atmosphere.
Once the lease period comes to an end you have a number of options to choose from:
• Continue into a new lease period with a newly rotated collection, or
• Acquire some or all of the leased images at a discounted price, or
• Simply hand back the artwork (ideal for a temporary location such as a show home)

Commissioned Projects
If you require specific photographs or themes that differ from those in our portfolio, then why not combine commissioned photography with either the Lease or Purchase options? Stuart will work through the content brief with you and will provide a commission proposal for you to review. Once you are happy with the proposal, he will then work on providing you with the specified content, finished and ready for display in either a personal or public space, as you desire.
